More talent more frustration

Today, it is very common to check your kid's IQ with different exercises to find out how smart he or she is. Kids with a higher IQ understand things more quickly and easily; if your kid has a low IQ, then you give him an extra activity to do. Make his life fast-paced.

In this case, we are talking about talented individuals who already have a higher IQ. However, they feel more frustrated, not because they are not able to handle the pressure, but because whatever they achieve every single time, their expectations rise along with them.

Whenever we discover that our child has a talent, whether it is studying, sports, music, or any other activity, we give them extra support and help. This approach helps them develop their talent, but we don't stop there. We also add a goal of doing their best every time and becoming the best. For parents, expecting extraordinary performance from their kids is normal, but from the kid's perspective, they have to handle the added pressure of being better than everyone else.

In the same way, you can see these things in offices as well as in your personal life with your partner. It is a common practice of bosses, parents, and spouses to overestimate a person's ability to perform well in demanding situations, but sometimes they may go too far.

- Now, regardless of whether you're on this side or the other side of the table, it's very critical to handle such situations carefully. In order for us to measure performance and expectations, they must be measurable.

Having a talent or performing well in a field is definitely something we feel proud of when our kids have it. Our first step should be to talk to him/her about their requirements and the time they require to practice,

Kids need support and guidance to succeed. Provide them with tutors, the gear needed for such a field, and most importantly time to develop their talent. If your child takes part in a competition, make sure their focus is to perform better than anyone else.

Recognizing in the office

If your child takes part in a competition, make sure in their mind it is an opportunity to show the world what they want to do. This is not a race for a place. Individuality is more valuable than a prize. Feel proud that your child is preparing himself to enter the world of competition without worrying about losing anything.

Our kids need to be taught that failure is part of life and we need to accept failure before they do. Do not just push them to move forward in life, let them learn that if they fall behind, it is not the end of their race. Learning from failure makes them stronger than ever

Definitely, there is a sense of urgency in every office, and there are always deadlines that must be met.

However, that doesn’t mean that we create unnecessary pressure on our employees. If you have a team of 10 employees and 5 out of them are the best performers, then you need not tell them what they have to do, they most likely need only direction and can perform better than the other 5, the least performers are not worthy for punishment, they need more attention and support,

Whenever we take a task, we decide who will be going to complete it easily, still, when we give the task to team members, we start doing some kind of micro-management, and most of the time we need reports from our best performer, It creates an awkward situation where your best performer gets confused.

How to guide your sub-ordinates

Don’t try to balance workload even know that every individual employee is unique and have different kind of skills. One task can be done by two different persons, but the way they pick to complete it could be different, let them do it in their own way.

Be available whenever they need your support and help, coaching is much less costly than mistakes, we need to adopt this theory, cause, after all, your kids, your life partner, and your employees all are human beings like you, they need to reward, consult, and praise when they perform exceptionally,

Summary: We have to understand their requirement and their zeal to perform better than yesterday. We have to learn to express our expectations from them without generating extra pressure on them.
