Travel seems to be different for different people. From the very origin of the life on earth, every species started to travel. Animal travel for food and even travel miles to adapt as per the environment, like grey whales travel from cold arctic water to warm Mexican waters.
We homo sapiens(Humans) initially also started to wander for the food which later evolved into settlements which further turns out to be big metropolitan cities of today's modern world.
Travel has always been associated with adventure and happiness. People travel for the relaxation, even some travel to find peace or a sense of purpose in there lives. We humans as a social animal, needs to travel to break the chains of our monotonous life structure.
A great traveller Ibn Battuta said
"Travelling: It leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller".
